SimViation is strictly operated by a completely different administrator and has no ties to FSGV other than being partners in the flight simulator community. FSGV is not responsible for any of the planning involved in preparing the online international airshow in the FS series. Any questions or issues pertaining to the online event are to be directed to the administrator of SimViation.
***Amended as of 20 November 2007***
In addition to this page, FSGV will also post information regarding its own online races. You will know whether or not information on this page is hosted by FSGV by simply reading the "Special Notes" below. However, regardless of whether or not FSGV hosts the information provided on this page, one thing is certain. The SimViation server, in which FSGV will now host its sessions on, still remain under the control of SimViation [not FSGV].
Online Conduct
This online session is intended to be a family-oriented experience for those who will attend the airshow and race. It is very important that all individuals respect each other and respect the airshow/race in the same way they expect to be treated themselves. Foul language and other such actions are strictly prohibited. You are also expected to follow the rules set by the host. Again, this is meant to be a family-oriented experience. Consider yourself warned.

to join our server with FSX you´ll need to installed FSHostClient.
You can download it here.
http://chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/?fshostclient.html
It´s currently a beta version but allready offers a lot of great features
(all of these features are only visible/accessible for FSX Users).
The Features in detail:
You can see smoke systems of other players aircraft.
Allready a lot of aircraft control surface animations are supported (more to come).
Smoother display of aircraft. Com Frequencies linked to Teamspeak.
This is an interresting feature. You just need to activate
the "Change Teamspeak channel to match Com frequency"
in the Options Menue of FShost Client. When you tune in
a specific com frequency in your radio panel, Teamspeak will automatically
move you to the matching Channel. Those channels need to be present
in Teamspeak to make this feature work. If you want to use this feature
for an ATC Session, just drop me or another TS admin a line
including the desired frequencies and names
"118.70 EDDM Tower" for example. We will than create those channels for you.

Important
Make sure you open the correct ports when you are behind a firewall or
you are connecting through a router !! This is very important or you might not
be able to connect. In some cases a connection might work but than other
Pilots will not be able to join the session.
Please take a look at eno´s excellent Router Tutorial.

If you have FSinn installed you need to deactivate it !
It blocks multiplayer connections to FSHost or FS Default Multiplayer Sessions !
After the installation, FSinn it will start two tasks automatically when Flightsim is started.
FSFDT and Ai-Bridge. You can find them in lower right corner of your taskbar.
As long as these tasks are active you will run into the same port problems described above.
So if you are connecting to our FSHost Server
and you have FSInn/FSCoPilot installed make sure the two task are closed !!!!
For any further questions, you can contact me, nfo-xabbu or Pete.
In general there are NO restrictions !!! Be kind to other users.
Don´t disturb anyone´s session (The world is large enough).
Have fun !!!
We use FSHost Flightsim Server Software.
