Sarge: Gentlemen, introducing the M12-LRV! I like to call it the Warthog.
Griff: Why "warthog", sir?
Sarge: Because "M12-LRV" is too hard to say in conversations, son.
Griff: No, I mean why a warthog? It doesn't look like a pig.
Sarge: Come again?
Griff: It looks more like a puma.
Sarge: What in tarnations is a puma?
If you're a dedicated Halo series fan and have watched all of the episodes of "Red vs Blue" [produced by the guys at RoosterTeeth.com], then you'll know for sure what the lines above meant. Anyways, an unsung developer named Bruce Fitzgerald in the flight simulator community has put together this interesting addon that everyone will have fun on.

When I first saw this vehicle, the first thing that ran through my mind was to test out its dynamics and see how it handles. Upon testing in FS2004, I was completely taken by surprise on how it quickly stabilizes even after I kept yanking the controls left and right while riding at over 40 knots. Even the way it stops is almost similar to its Bungi counterpart. When I pressed the brakes, the Warthog slipped to one side and slid to fun stop. It's even great for online racing.

Sarge: You see these tusks? What kind of animal has tusks?
Griff: A walrus.
Sarge: Didn't I just tell ya to stop making up animals?!!!

Of course, just like any other addon, this warthog has to suffer a downside. The DVC is not exactly what you would call five-star quality; but hey, the view is excellent on this one and at least it comes with a gattling gun [too bad it doesn't fire bullets].

Griff: It Donut! And he looks like he's carrying... Simmons, get the warthog.
Simmons: [chuckles] You mean the puma?
Griff: Yeah, laugh it up pal. That'll help us win the war.
You can download the addon directly from SimViation.com through the following link. It's original made for FSX, but it can also work wonders in FS2004.

Thank you Bruce for giving everyone this addon.
