Bush Flying Track

Author: Brian Tabaj
Date Released: 11 June 2006
Bush_Track.zip

This is a bush airport that contains a dirt race track next to it and it is located on top of a cliff in Alaska. Because this addon doesn't have an AFCAD, it can only be located at the following coordinates:

N56* 59.53'
W132* 45.39'

I like to thank Brian for providing this nice addon that looks fun to use. It has a smoke effect, some track barriers, and other sorts of eye candy. Enjoy!

Update - 18 June 2006 - Mitsuya Hamaguchi has just uploaded his new car addon that is best suited for this track. It very stable and can climb the hills more effectively. Download the Mitsubishi Pajero from Mitsuya Hamaguchi's main website. The link to his site can be found on the FSGV "Links" section and is listed under "Hama's Page". Drive safe!

NASCAR Tracks

Author: Goeff Scott
Date Found: 20 June 2006
Website: www.fsimcafe.com
Download Link: http://www.fsimcafe.com/Downloads/ShowDownload.aspx?ProductID=1573

This is Goeff Scott's greatest addition to the FS series. This package contains nascar race tracks that covers every race track ever seen in the US. The tracks are drivable and is easy to install. No other downloads are required.

Note: Pardon me for not uploading the actual addon onto my site. I have been unable to contact the author of this addon for permission to upload and post the
addon here at FSGV. So, until I get the permission to upload the actual scenery package here, a link to another website that has the addon will have to do.

FSGV Race Track

Author: Jessy Corrales
Date Released: 24 June 2006
FSGV_KHRT_v1.0.zip
FSGV_K305_v2.0.zip

This is a simple race track situated near Homestead ARB in Florida. It contains mostly straightaways, pit stop, a runway for aircraft access and s-turns. Its ICAO code is KHRT but can be found by simply flying Eastward out of Homestead ARB [believe me, you'll find it]. For an added challenge, the track has no barriers and the trak itself is located directly over water. Updates will be coming soon as I improve the track. This was made only with AFCAD. Hopefully, this will be the official race track for FSGV.

Updated - 26 June 2006 - This is the updated version of the FSGV track. It features some grass patches and a new ICAO code [which is K305]. It also includes a helipad for helos. This file is required if you intend to use the FSGV test ramp [see below]. **Please remember to delete the old AFCAD track before installing this one. Otherwise, the track will overlap over the old.**

FSGV Track Placement

Author: Jessy Corrales
Date Released: 26 July 2006
FSGV_Raceway_v1.0.zip

This is a beta version of the actual placement monument that will be present in future versions of the FSGV track. The moument is to be used to present the top three winners of each race event. The drivable surface allows the drivers to easy manuver themselfs into their respective positions [first, second and third place]. Please note that since this is a beta version there will be no textures on the monument. Textures will be present on future updates that will be released regularly.

FSGV Ramp

Author: Jessy Corrales
Date Released: 26 June 2006
FSGV_Ramp_v1.0.zip

Note: You need the FSGV track [see above] in order to fully utilize this ramp. This ramp is an example of a solid and curved platform that was modeled in Gmax and exported directly to flight simulator 2004 using only the software development kits provided by Microsoft.

Remember, this is only a test ramp. And please be aware that the ramp has a blind spot halfway through. There is a way to get around the blind spot but it's going to be tricky [that's the challenge].

http://www.flightsimgroundvehicles.com/Downloads/FS2004 - Tracks/FSGV_Track_D1F7.zip

This is a new AFCAD race track provided by Alberto Villarreal. This track is mainly used for drifting and can really test a car's ability to turn in tight corners. The track is situated in the hill so Sonoma and its ICAO code is D1F7. This is one of many tracks that will be featured in the monthly races. Updates will be provided soon enough.

FSGV Honolulu Race Track

Date Released: 5 December 2007

This is a simple addon that consists of only one BGL file, which turns a portion of the default Flight Simulator 2004 scenery of Honolulu International Airport into a race track that has 13 turns in total. The BGL file simply adds arrow markers to certain spots within the airport while pointing the direction of turn for the driver.
