Japanese Import Package

Date Released: 12 July 2006

Introducing the 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 for Flight Simulator 2004. After learning all I could from my previous projects and after reading one long tutorial after another, I have finally completed the car addon for the FSGV trio [the ferrari, the chevy, and the nissan]. I get the feeling that this addon will be on the spotlight for many of its features. Custom xml-based speedometer and rpm gauges made exactly for the nissan model. Sound package is based on the actual nissan as well and was put together using MP3 Maker and FS Sound Studio. Full-model DVC is made almost entirely of phototextures while all of the textures thoughout the model are made with effeciency in mind for faster loading. The entire model is xml based so almost all of the animations in DVC are clickable. Smoke effect is used for simulating a burnout. Custom environment map is included to allow for a more realistic reflective effect seen on real-life cars. Source textures and original sounds are included for all of those who like to make adjustments of their own liking. ***Please view the included "read me" file for further information regarding the credits.***

Introducing the 1978 Chevy Corvette for FS2004. Included texture sets are the Indy 500 Pace Car Edition, Silver Edition, SimViation Edition, #42 Race car, Red, Blue, and Vanilla-Brown. This addon is in response to all the new sceneries that now incorporate high-detail objects that can best be viewed on the ground. I know several sceneries that can fit well with this car. Guam, Acapulca International, Free Flow Ultimate Florida, Princes Int'l, etc. Most of the good sceneies can be found at the SimViation website. Others at the AvSim website. Since this car is made for drag racing, try competing against your friends online. Note: Don't compete against a jet with this car, or you'll lose. Use the included Timer to see how well you do in circuit races as well. And finally, source textures [bmp format] are included for all you repainters out there. Full-Model Dynamic Virtual Cockpit, Full animation, Alpha Channels. "My-First" Dynamics, Panel, Textures, Visual model, and animations made by Jessy Corrales. Car gauges borrowed from the Ferrari [they look better on a Chevy]. SuperTimer gauge included and made by Glenn Copeland. Sound files made by Richie. ***Read the Credit file for information regarding the authors and new distribution limits imposed on this package*** Other than that, have fun and um... oh yes, don't scratch the finish. ;)

After being abandoned and shelved as a project for many years, this Porsche has finally been raised from the dead as a complete package. Using a custom 2D panel and sounds taken from that of a real Porsche, along with excellent textures for the exterior, this addon will surely grab everyone's attention. It's dynamics are also brand new and makes this racing machine really tear up the roads.

Gauges: Stock
Visual Model and Animations: Jessy Corrales
Textures, Dynamics, Sounds, and 2D Panel: Erwin Welker

Note: The gauges that are included in the first update may have originated from one of the gauges produced years ago by Christian Friedrich for the Vito Van as I remember borrowing such gauges at one point.

The following configuration file is a completely enhanced version of the one that comes with the original package. It allows independent leaning motions through the aileron control and features custom camera angles for use in Flight Simulator X. This enhanced version was compiled by Loyd Livaudais.

There were many motorcycle addons that came before this one, but the Ducati stands out as the most unique so far. Featuring a sleak look using a poly-modeling technique, and providing source textures for the look, repainters can give this two-wheeled machine a style of their own. And with sound files based completely on the real Ducati, and animations, it can provide a greater sense of realism. The photorealistic 2D panel was taken from an online image posted on the net. It doesn't accurately represent the right model of the Ducati, but it's the best [and only] shot I could find that had the right quality of both lighting and sharpness; therefore, it became the prime choice for a 2D panel. The sounds were also aquired from the net and were edited with Magix MP3 Maker and then compiled using FS Sound Studio. Textures, alpha channels, and light maps were created using Paint Shop Pro and DXTBmp.
